Rover chief engineer Maurice Wilks was inspired by his Willys-Overland jeep, left over from the army, to create a cargo vehicle for military and agricultural use and to export and activate the national economy after World War II. The prototypes were launched at the end of 1947 and the production of the Series I began at Solihull in the summer of 1948. It had permanent four-wheel drive with low ratio gears and a freewheel locking mechanism, a motor 1.6 liters and 50 hp of power. The Rover P3 was equipped with lightweight panels made of surplus aeronautical quality aluminum (steel was scarce after the war) and came with surplus green army paint. The price of Land Rover started from just 450 pounds. The supply to the British forces began in 1949, the Land Rover replaced the Austin Champ and then the Austin Gipsy. Deliveries to organizations such as the Red Cross soon followed. The Land Rover number 100,000 was manufactured in the autumn of 1954 and, in 1958, production reached about 200,000. In Bronze Green, this 88-inch Land Rover was one of the most popular clour plans. They say that there are no two Land Iver Series I equal survivors, each with its own decoration.

Returns
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your product purchased through the Internet, you have a period of 15 days, from the date of delivery of the product, to return it. In this case the shipping and collection costs will be borne by the customer. Before making such return, the client must contact us within the indicated period via email, telephone or fax where the return process will be indicated. Any return without this prior communication will not be accepted. To be able to accept the return must be both the product and its packaging, in perfect condition, without scratches or broken or damaged packaging and including all documentation accompanying the product and its accessories. The customer must make a proper packaging to ensure transport without damage. Once received and verified by our staff that the product is in the same state in which it was sent, the amount will be refunded according to the payment method made by the customer. Any refund will be deducted in a deduction in the amount of 8% for reception, inspection and demerit costs.
