The JJOODA "Hangman" combat car belonged to the 3rd Battalion, 32nd Armored Regiment, 3rd Armored Division. HQ5 indicates that the tank belongs to the Battalion Headquarters Company of the 7th U.S. Army. UU. based in Germany; It was probably in service between 1962 and 1980. In 1963, the 3rd Battalion, the 32nd Armored Regiment was transferred to Germany and assigned to the 3rd Armored Division whose task was, in case of war with the Warsaw Pact countries, to defend the Fulda gap. In 1978 the M60A1 began to be replaced by the M60A3.
