Hermann Goring also wanted to participate in the land victories, so he created an elite Luftwaffe armored division called Fallschirm-Panzer-Division 1. Hermann Göring. As the activity of the German bombers became less viable, the crews were assigned to land units. At the beginning of World War II, it was an anti-aircraft unit that was constantly growing to include armored vehicles. The Sd.Kfz.7 was largely used to transport the heavy 8.8 cm Flak cannon and up to 12 crew members. This vehicle was under the command of the Luftwaffe Luftgaukommando VI (Munster).
